Dell=Fail!

Further testing of the Omnia proves that my Dell notebook is almost worthless by now! PPC’s are constantly getting better and better on each release, I could almost ditch my notebook and do everything on my Omnia. I was messing with the integrated webcam, and even with a standard resolution, in .wmv format, it was too slow, couldn’t record my simple sit and talk recording. The FPS, sadly enough on my notebook was under 5! But with the Omnia’s DivX support, the 5MP AF camera recorded a both smooth, and high quality video. My only problem with the Omnia’s video camera, is it records it in a .3GPP2 file. This means my beloved CorePlayer can’t play the audio, only the video, because it lacks support for the codec. Oh well, the ugly Touch Player and WMP will work for it.
